The Yemeni community in the Sultanate of Oman, representing the Republic of Yemen, participated in the Global Cultures Exhibition held on the sidelines of the 3rd Dhofar Health Forum in Salalah, with participation from several countries around the world.
The Yemeni pavilion drew large crowds and earned admiration from visitors and the organizing committee. It featured artifacts and symbolic models that embody the depth of Yemeni heritage and history, reflecting the civilizational and cultural diversity Yemen is rich in. The pavilion also highlighted authentic Yemeni coffee, one of the most prominent symbols of Yemeni identity.
Organizing and managing the Yemeni pavilion were:
Dr. Ahmed Abukhliba Al-Hadhrami, Head of the Yemeni Community
Dr. Sadiq Al-Nahari, a prominent figure of the Yemeni community in Dhofar
Mr. Waleed Al-Malahi, Deputy Head of the Community and Financial Officer
Media professional Rania Al-Bahri
Eng. Tamim bin Waleed Al-Azraq, Yemeni coffee expert and representative of First Moka Company
Along with several children from the community, who added a distinctive heritage and national touch that won the audience’s appreciation.
At the closing of the exhibition, the organizing committee honored the Yemeni community in recognition of its active and outstanding participation, alongside honoring the other participating countries. Dr. Ahmed Abukhliba Al-Hadhrami, Head of the Yemeni Community, also presented a commemorative shield and symbolic gift to the event’s patron, Her Highness Dr. Mona bint Fahd Al Said, in appreciation of her sponsorship and support for this international cultural event.
This participation reflected Yemen’s civilizational image and contributed to introducing its rich cultural and historical heritage, while highlighting the status of Yemeni coffee as one of the most famous Yemeni products with a global reputation — all in an atmosphere of cultural exchange and connection among the participating countries.
