Uniting for Growth: Hadhramaut's Tourism Sector Takes a Step Forward

Under the patronage of the Yemeni Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Mr. Ma'amar Al-Eryani, and the Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout bin Madi, the city of Al-Mukalla hosted the first-ever expanded meeting for tourism and travel agencies in Hadhramaut. This significant event was organized by the Hadhramaut Tourism and Travel Association.

Support for Tourism Agencies: The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Jaafar Abubaker, emphasized the ministry's commitment to supporting these agencies and implementing the participants' recommendations within the available capabilities.


Strengthening Partnerships: The Chairman of the Association, Mr. Nabil Yahya, outlined the association's goals, focusing on enhancing partnerships with official bodies and addressing the challenges faced by tourism and travel agencies to elevate the tourism sector in Hadhramaut.


Participants: The meeting was attended by key figures, including the Director of the Tourism Office in Hadhramaut Coast, Mr. Muhammad Bu'ayran, and the Acting Manager of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Majdi Bu'abas, alongside other officials from both the public and private sectors.


Outcomes: The meeting concluded with a strong emphasis on the necessity of continued coordination with relevant authorities to resolve issues affecting tourism and travel agencies, removing obstacles to activate their role in stimulating tourism and boosting the local economy.
