Deputy Minister of Tourism Calls on Tourism Establishments to Reduce Prices
the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Hussein Al-Sakab, has called on hotel and restaurant owners, as well as tourism establishment operators in liberated provinces, to reduce their service prices in line with government directives and the notable decline in exchange rates.
In an official statement, Al-Sakab emphasized the importance of swiftly responding to these directives by reviewing and adjusting prices according to economic changes. He stressed the need for local tourism offices to be informed of the measures taken in this regard.
The Deputy Minister warned that any negligence or delay would hold the violating entity fully responsible, affirming that the ministry would continue to monitor and evaluate through its office directors in various provinces.
Al-Sakab noted that this step is part of the ministry's efforts to alleviate the burden on citizens and enhance visitors' trust in the national tourism sector, calling on all establishments to cooperate for the greater good.
He concluded by expressing the ministry's appreciation and gratitude to establishments that have complied with price adjustments, emphasizing the ministry's continued efforts in supervision and field monitoring.
