The Yemeni Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Moammer Al-Eryani, met with the Deputy Governor of Socotra, Saleh Saad, in Aden to discuss preparations for the upcoming tourist season, scheduled to start in October.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Eryani conveyed greetings from the President of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Prime Minister to the people of Socotra. He emphasized the political leadership's support for tourism promotion efforts and its commitment to showcasing the archipelago's unique natural and environmental features.
The minister praised the success of the previous year's clean-up campaign and stressed the importance of continuing awareness efforts to maintain Socotra's environment as a global tourist destination.
The meeting also discussed upcoming activities and events for the tourist season, as well as ways to overcome challenges faced in previous seasons. Minister Al-Eryani assured the ministry's readiness to provide all necessary facilitation, technical, and logistical support to ensure the season's success.
